With centuries-old experience this rakes have developed their own features in workmanship, which have an influence on manufactoring those wooden rakes as well as on the handling of the rakes. In the end only the best wood has proved to be used - personally chosen, cut at the right point of time and dries for years.

Teeth, the head of the rakes and the handles are made with special design and allow easy working without plucking, bouncing, hooking up or back spinning. Therefor we have rakes available for (nearly) every task.

The wooden rakes of Lofer-Rakes are produced with wooden teeth (e.g. as full wooden rakes) r with patented, long-lasting teeth made from nylon. Solid, full wooden rakes consist as a whole only of wood - they are produced from hand and have a split handle. The avantage of teeth from nylon is that they stay elastic and do not get recalcitrant.

They can be pulled without plucking, bouncing or back spinning of earth; the steplessly adjustable holdings allow adjustment of the inclination to individual need. Hayrakes are available in many different sizes and widths.

The Fine Plane Rakes - with double-sided teeth and small teeth distance - removes stones diameter greater than 1,5 cm. It is used for turn and plane sand, but also for rolling tusk and turf as well as to prepare the ground at golf-courses (greens).

Pro Sand Austria Bunker-Rake is our rake for sand bunkers at golf courses; it is the cheap alternative to rakes made from aluminium. It was specially designed for general working tasks at golf-courses but is also very suitable for care work of the lawn and to care for the sand bunkers.

The handles of Lofer-Rakes are also produced by a long tradition and experience in manufactoring rake handles. Since centuries they are made only from limewood - which has proven to be the best wood for handles of rakes. Therefor this handles light and stable, elastic, flexile and unbreakable, do not splinter and do not deform. The handles have special contoured and tapered ends: this gives higher stability of the handles and better operation in use: the handle cannot slip out of hands and they are gently for the wrist joint.

Unfortunately is limewood also the most expensive wood.
